Our Brotherhood

Established in 1977, the Eta Phi Chapter of Sigma Chi has a strong history of being the top fraternity on the Troy University campus.

We are proud to cultivate an engaging brotherhood environment, where true friendship, accountability through justice, and lifelong learning are our main pursuits. We are always searching for men of good character and ideals, men that are exemplary in all aspects of life; from the classroom, the playing field, or among their peers. We hold a high standard in an effort to make our chapter the best it can be, and to push our brothers to be the best they can be.

A Message from Our Consul

Thank you for your interest in the Eta Phi chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity here at Troy University. College is an impactful time during a man’s life. While your college experience may be limited to only four years, brotherhood in Sigma Chi lasts a lifetime.

Our brotherhood consists of men with different temperaments, talents, and convictions. Genuine friendship can be maintained without surrendering the principle of individuality or sacrificing one's personal judgement. As a fraternity, we are committed to the betterment of our members, campus, and community. Like Significant Sig John Wayne said, “Men join fraternities, leaders of men join Sigma Chi.”

I sure hope you take interest in Greek Life as a whole at our university. It truly has changed my life for the better, and I would recommend it to anyone I know. But at Sigma Chi, you find it here.

If you are curious to learn more about our chapter and Sigma Chi as a whole, please reach out to our recruitman chairman, Austin Nash. Also, visit our linktree at linktr.ee/TroySigs. If you are an alumnus of our chapter, welcome back brother. Please feel free to reach out to myself if you are interested in reinvolving yourself with the place we love so well.
